Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #18-161 <br />RESOLUTION HIRING A SEASONAL PUBLIC WORKS MAINTENANCE WORKER <br />WHEREAS, annually the City employs Seasonal Public Works Maintenance Workers to <br />perform work in the Parks, Streets, and Utilities Divisions of Public Works; and <br />WHEREAS, staff selected a qualified Seasonal Public Works Maintenance Workers; and <br />WHEREAS, the candidate has passed the pre -employment screenings; and <br />WHEREAS, staff recommends hiring Mr. Jacob Vanness, effective July 30, 2018 at <br />$11.50 per hour. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) Motion to adopt resolution #18-161 to hire Mr. Jacob Vanness, as a Seasonal Public <br />Works Maintenance Worker, effective July 30, 2018 at $11.50 per hour. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 6t1 day of August, 2018. <br />
