Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #18-140 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AN EXTENSION TO THE COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE <br />BROKERAGE SERVICES WITH CBRE <br />WHEREAS, since 2014, the City has contracted with CBRE for commercial real estate brokerage <br />services to sell available City Owned Land; and <br />WHEREAS, the current contract is set to expire on July 20, 2018; and <br />WHEREAS, the City is currently recruiting an Economic Development Manager that would manage <br />this contract. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, <br />ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1. That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves an extension to the contract with CBRE until December <br />31, 2018 to allow the completion of the recruitment of the Economic Development Manager who will <br />recommend an ultimate disposition of real estate management approach. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember, and upon vote <br />being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this 10th day of <br />July, 2018. <br />Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />
