Acting Mayor LeTourneau asked if the request tonight would include approval of the sign or <br />whether that action would go back before the Planning Commissioner. <br />Planning Intern Imihy replied that the action tonight will include the sign. <br />Motion by Councilmember Kuzma, seconded by Councilmember Riley, to Adopt Resolution <br />#18-119 Approving the Issuance of a Conditional Use Permit to Allow a Commercial Dog <br />Kennel on the Property Generally Known as 17860 Nowthen Boulevard NW and Declaring <br />Terms of Same. <br />Further discussion: Acting Mayor LeTourneau asked if there is anyone present to address the <br />sign in the audience. No comments were made. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Acting Mayor LeTourneau, Councilmembers Kuzma, Riley, and <br />Shryock. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Johns. <br />7.02: Consider Adoption of Resolution #18-116 Approving Preliminary Plat for Cottages <br />at the COR (Project #17-162); Case of Centra Homes, LLC <br />City Planner McGuire Brigl reviewed the staff report and recommendation from the Planning <br />Commission and staff to adopt Resolution #18-116 approving the Preliminary Plat for Cottages <br />at the COR. <br />Acting Mayor LeTourneau asked for input on the access with only one connection, from a police <br />and fire aspect. <br />City Planner McGuire Brigl provided details on an emergency access that would be provided <br />from an adjacent development. <br />Councilmember Shryock stated that she feels more comfortable with this layout as compared to <br />the previous layout that was presented to the Council. <br />Motion by Councilmember Shryock, seconded by Councilmember Riley, to Adopt Resolution <br />#18-116 Granting Preliminary Plat Approval of Cottages at the COR. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Acting Mayor LeTourneau, Councilmembers Shryock, Riley, and <br />Kuzma. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Johns. <br />7.03: REVISED (June 22, 2018): Consider Adoption of Resolution #18-130 Approving <br />Revised Preliminary Plat for Riverstone; Case of Capstone Homes <br />Community Development Director Gladhill reviewed the staff report and recommendation to <br />from the Planning Commission to approve the revised Preliminary Plat as proposed by Capstone <br />Homes (Riverstone Land, LLC), contingent upon including a water supply and sanitary sewer <br />connection to Outlot C, Northfork. He noted that the objection by AKM Farms related to density <br />transitioning has been reviewed by the City Attorney.
