CITY COUNCIL <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, August 28, 2018, at the <br /> Ramsey Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> Members Present: Acting Mayor John LeTourneau <br /> Councilmember Jill Johns <br /> Councilmember Mark Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Chris Riley <br /> Councilmember Melody Shryock <br /> Members Absent: None <br /> Also Present: City Administrator Kurtis Ulrich <br /> Police Chief Jeff Katers <br /> Parks and Assistant Public Works Superintendent Mark Riverblood <br /> Community Development Director Timothy Gladhill <br /> City Engineer Bruce Westby <br /> City Planning Intern PeggySue Imihy <br /> City Planner Chloe McGuire Brigl <br /> 1. CALL TO ORDER <br /> Acting Mayor LeTourneau called the regular meeting of the Ramsey City Council to order at <br /> 7:00 p.m., followed by the Pledge of Allegiance led by Acting Mayor LeTourneau. <br /> 2. PRESENTATION <br /> None. <br /> 3. CITIZEN INPUT <br /> Justin Jackson, 5950 158th Avenue NW, stated that his neighborhood does not have traffic <br /> control, sidewalks or streetlights and believes that issue needs to be addressed. He stated that <br /> there is traffic that pours through his neighborhood and believes that stop signs are needed. He <br /> referenced the pedestrian bridge proposed to cross Highway 10 and asked the number of <br /> signatures that would be needed to halt that project. <br /> Acting Mayor LeTourneau commented that no signatures are needed to halt that project. He <br /> explained that the City is proposing and investigating that option for the community.
