CITY COUNCIL <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, September 11, 2018, at the <br /> Ramsey Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> Members Present: Acting Mayor John LeTourneau <br /> Councilmember Jill Johns <br /> Councilmember Mark Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Chris Riley <br /> Councilmember Melody Shryock <br /> Members Absent: None <br /> Also Present: Police Captain Tim Frankfurth <br /> Parks and Assistant Public Works Superintendent Mark Riverblood <br /> Community Development Director Timothy Gladhill <br /> City Engineer Bruce Westby <br /> City Planner Chloe McGuire Brigl <br /> Economic Development Manager Sean Sullivan <br /> 1. CALL TO ORDER <br /> Acting Mayor LeTourneau called the regular meeting of the Ramsey City Council to order at <br /> 7:00 p.m., followed by the Pledge of Allegiance led by Acting Mayor LeTourneau. <br /> Community Development Director Gladhill introduced a new member of staff, Economic <br /> Development Manager Sean Sullivan. He noted that Mr. Sullivan previously worked for the City <br /> of Ramsey as an Economic Development staff member in the early 2000's. <br /> Economic Development Manager Sullivan thanked the City for providing an opportunity for him <br /> to return to the City and rejoin the team. He stated that it has been a fast paced two weeks and he <br /> is excited to be a part of the team moving the City forward. <br /> 2. PRESENTATION <br /> 2.01: Presentation Proclaiming September 17-23,2018 as Constitution Week <br /> Acting Mayor LeTourneau stated that at the request of the Daughters of the American <br /> Revolution (DAR), the City Council has adopted a resolution proclaiming September 17-23 as <br /> Constitution Week in the community for several years. He read the proclamation aloud and <br /> noted that the Council will take action on the item on tonight's Consent Agenda. <br /> City Council/ September 11,2018 <br /> Page 2 of 8 <br />
