Update Unsling Facilities <br />Figures 8 and 9 show priority rankings for hypothetical plans by highest priority to lowest <br />priority for Ramsey. `Build a Community Center" was the highest chosen for the first priority <br />and second highest for the second priority, indicating strong community support for a community <br />center over other possible plans. <br />Final Comments <br />-• Exactly how high property taxes may increase concerned residents. <br />-3 A handful of requested participants simply stated Ramsey did not need a community <br />center and refused to take the survey. <br />-• The majority of the residents surveyed were not physically active. <br />-3 The majority of residents surveyed were in the older age brackets and so generally do not <br />engage in as much physical activity. <br />Plan of Action <br />-3 Residents of Ramsey want a community center. <br />-3 Residents are willing to pay higher property taxes to get a community center. <br />-• Residents prefer indoor multi -use facilities. <br />-a Residents prefer a functional and clean center rather than a well -designed exterior. <br />-3 Residents require close access and adequate parking. <br />-3 Amenities preferred include: <br />• lap pool, basketball court, racquetball courts, yoga studio, and traditional exercise <br />equipment. <br />-3 Conduct further research on the needs of younger residents <br />12 <br />20 <br />
