Case # 5 <br />Definition of Language in Redevelopment Plan <br /> <br />By: Scan M. Sullivan, EconOmic DeVelopment/TIF Specialist. <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />The EDA and Staff discussed the Lease Revenue Bond structure for the Municipal Center project <br />at length at the February 2, 2005 EDA meeting. Questions relating to the '.'redevelopment" <br />definition of the project were raised and in~luiries were made as to the flexibility of changing or <br />removing the questioned language (See Attached Redevelopment Plan with underlining). Staff <br />and EDA members were unable to determine i whether this language could be changed or <br />removed so it was requested that Bond Council be present at the February 16, 2005 meeting to <br />address questions. ~ <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />The language in question was very specific to Section B entitled "Statement" in the <br />Redevelopment Plan. Bond Council will :be in attendance to discuss questions relating to the <br />language currently used in the Redevelopment Plan.
