Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #18-233 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ANOKA RAMSEY ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION <br />APPLICATION FOR A PREMISE PERMIT FOR LAWFUL GAMBLING AT <br />AURELIO'S PIZZA IN RAMSEY <br />WHEREAS, The Anoka Ramsey Athletic Association has applied for a premise permit <br />for gambling at Aurelio's Pizza, 6415 Highway 10, Suite 120, Ramsey. <br />WHEREAS, The Anoka Ramsey Athletic Association has requested Council waive the <br />60-day notice provision; and <br />WHEREAS, the Gambling Control Board Division of the Department of Gaming requires <br />the City of Ramsey adopt a resolution specifically approving or denying the application. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />I) That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the premise permit application for the <br />Anoka Ramsey Youth Association to operate lawful gambling at Aurelio's Pizza, 6415 <br />Highway 10 NW, Suite 120, Ramsey. <br />2) That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes the City Administrator or Finance Director <br />to sign the application and any other documents required by the Minnesota Gambling <br />Board. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent? <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 13th day of November, 2018. <br />Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />City Clerk <br />
