Our Mission: To wok together to respcsibty grow Our community, and to provide quality, cest, effective, and efficient government services.
CC Regular Session
Meeting Date: 09/25/2018
Submitted For: Eric Maass, Community Development
By: Chloe McGuire Brigl, Community Development
Information
7. 5.
Title:
Adopt Resolution #18-205 Approving a Development Agreement for Grading and Erosion Control for Lazydays
RV.
Purpose/Background:
The purpose of this case is to review the grading and erosion control development agreement between Lazydays
RV ("the Applicant') and the City of Ramsey. The Applicant was granted Site Plan, Preliminary Plat, and
Conditional Use Permit approval via Resolution #18-162 on the property located at PID 29-32-25-13-0007, legally
described as Outlot A, Alpaca Estates 4th Addition ("the Subject Property"). The City of Ramsey requires a
development agreement for these types of projects.
Notification:
No notification is required for this portion of the review.
Observations/Alternatives:
The Applicant is requesting permission to begin site grading and to install erosion control measures on the site. In
order for this to begin the City requires that the Applicant enter into a grading and erosion control development
agreement with the City. The Applicant will still be required to come forward at a future City Council meeting for
consideration of a full development agreement that encompasses the full project.
Engineering Staff have reviewed the grading and erosion control plans as well as the engineers estimate for the
scope of work related to grading and erosion control and is
Alternative 1: Adopt Resolution #18-205 approving the grading and erosion control development agreement for
Lazydays. Staff is supportive of Alternative 1.
Alternative 2: Deny Resoultion #18-125 approving the grading and erosion control development agreement for
Lazydays. Staff is not supportive of Alternative 2.
Funding Source:
The applicant is responsible for all costs associated with review.
Recommendation:
