CITY COUNCIL CITY OF RAMSEY ANOKA COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, September 11, 2018, at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. Members Present: Acting Mayor John LeTourneau Councilmember Jill Johns Councilmember Mark Kuzma Councilmember Chris Riley Councilmember Melody Shryock Members Absent: None Also Present: 1. Police Captain Tim Frankfurth Parks and Assistant Public Works Superintendent Mark Riverblood Community Development Director Timothy Gladhill City Engineer Bruce Westby City Planner Chloe McGuire Brigl Economic Development Manager Sean Sullivan CALL TO ORDER Acting Mayor LeTourneau called the regular meeting of the Ramsey City Council to order at 7:00 p.m., followed by the Pledge of Allegiance led by Acting Mayor LeTourneau. Community Development Director Gladhill introduced a new member of staff, Economic Development Manager Sean Sullivan. He noted that Mr. Sullivan previously worked for the City of Ramsey as an Economic Development staff member in the early 2000's. Economic Development Manager Sullivan thanked the City for providing an opportunity for him to return to the City and rejoin the team. He stated that it has been a fast paced two weeks and he is excited to be a part of the team moving the City forward. 2. PRESENTATION 2.01: Presentation Proclaiming September 17-23, 2018 as Constitution Week Acting Mayor LeTourneau stated that at the request of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), the City Council has adopted a resolution proclaiming September 17-23 as Constitution Week in the community for several years. He read the proclamation aloud and noted that the Council will take action on the item on tonight's Consent Agenda. City Council / September 11, 2018 Page 2 of 8
