<br />Councilmember Johns introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #18-267 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING PRECINCT AND POLLING LOCATIONS FOR 2019 <br />ELECTION YEAR <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />Minnesota Statute 204B.16, subd. 1 requires the governing body of each <br />st <br />municipality to designate by ordinance or resolution each year no later than December 31, polling <br />places for each election precinct; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />the polling places designated by resolution in December of each year are the <br />polling places to be used for elections in the following calendar year. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the polling locations to be used for municipal precincts in calendar year 2019 are as <br />follows: <br /> <br />Ward 1 – Precinct 1 Pathways Community Church <br />th <br />6341 – 167 Avenue NW <br />Ward 1 – Precinct 2 Cross of Hope Church <br />th <br />5730 – 179 Lane NW <br />Ward 2 – Precinct 1 Park Center Building at Central Park <br />st <br />7925 – 161 Avenue NW <br />Ward 2 – Precinct 2 Independent Baptist Church <br />15650 Sunfish Lake Boulevard NW <br /> <br />Ward 3 – Precinct 1 Ramsey Municipal Center <br />7550 Sunwood Drive NW <br /> <br />Ward 3 – Precinct 2 Ramsey Fire Station No. 1 <br />15050 Armstrong Boulevard NW <br /> <br />Ward 4 – Precinct 1 Ramsey Fire Station No. 2 <br />5650 Alpine Drive NW <br /> <br />Ward 4 – Precinct 2 Lord of Life Church <br />14501 Nowthen Boulevard NW <br /> <br /> <br />2) That the Ramsey City Council hereby directs the City Clerk to make all necessary <br />notifications and preparations for elections held in 2019 as required by MN Statute, Rule <br />and Administrative Policy of the City. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Shryock, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
