City Administrator <br />Professional Development Plan 2019 <br />Areas of Focus <br />The following areas of focus reflect specific areas of development identified in the CheckPoint <br />360 assessment feedback tool. For 2019, the City Administrator is to focus on providing <br />direction, communicating effectively, and thinking creatively while pursuing the <br />accomplishment of the following priority tasks: <br />1. Highway 10 Corridor Improvement <br />• Coordinate local, state and federal legislative efforts to secure funding. <br />• Monitor Highway 10 Planning project. <br />• Strengthen Highway 10 coalition relationships between cities, counties and state. <br />• Improve citizen outreach to improve awareness and understanding of this project. <br />2. City-wide Communication and Branding <br />• Refresh and broaden "COR" signage to reflect "City of Ramsey" <br />• Improve signage and branding of major commercial areas. <br />• Replace and add additional dynamic community display signs. <br />• Address the historic Town Hall and establish direction for historic building. <br />3. Long-term Road Funding <br />• Coordinate long-term road funding plan with consultants and depatttnent staff. <br />• Work with commissions to develop and implement preferred plan. <br />• Communicate issues and planned solutions to public. <br />4. Public Works Campus <br />• Address financing of new building. <br />• Develop short and long-term implementation plans. <br />5. Community Center <br />• Identify and contact potential strategic partners. <br />• Draft potential financing options and strategy. <br />Reviewed by City Council January 8, 2019 <br />
