Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #19-004 <br />RESOLUTION HIRING TEMPORARY ICE RINK ATTENDANTS <br />WHEREAS, annually the City employs Temporary Ice Rink Attendants to supervise and <br />perform various tasks at Central Park and Ramsey Elementary School ice rinks, warming houses <br />and grounds for approximately 10 weeks; and <br />WHEREAS, staff recruited for, interviewed, and selected qualified candidates; and <br />WHEREAS, the candidates have passed the pre -employment screening process; and <br />WHEREAS, staff recommends hiring Mr. Jack Hoekman, Ms. Leticia LaLonde, Ms. <br />Rachel Orn, Ms. Hailey Petersen, Mr. Carter Walter, and Ms. Elizabeth Witter, as Temporary Ice <br />Rink Attendants, all within the Rink Attendant pay scale which is $9.65 per hour; effective <br />December 12, 2018. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />Motion to adopt resolution #19-004 to do the following: <br />1) Hire Mr. Jack Hoekman, Ms. Leticia LaLonde, Ms. Rachel Orn, Ms. Hailey Petersen, Mr. <br />Carter Walter, and Ms. Elizabeth Witter, as Temporary Ice Rink Attendants, all within the <br />Rink Attendant pay scale which is $9.65 per hour; effective December 12, 2018. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember , <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 8th day of January, 2019. <br />
