Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #19-010 <br />RESOLUTION TO PROMOTE A COMMUNITY SERVICE OFFICER TO PATROL <br />OFFICER FILLING THE CURRENT VACANCY <br />WHEREAS, the City currently has one Patrol Officer vacancy; and <br />WHEREAS, an internal recruitment process was conducted; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Aaron Pipenhagen has been selected by staff to fill the Patrol Officer <br />vacancy; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Pipenhagen successfully passed the City's pre -employment checks, <br />including: reference checks, background and driving record checks, pre -employment assessment, <br />and pre -employment physical and drug screen; and <br />WHEREAS, all Patrol Officers are subject to a 1-year probation period; and <br />WHEREAS, Staff recommends promoting Mr. Aaron Pipenhagen effective on <br />January 9, 2019, at step 1 of the 2019 pay scale, which is $26.52 per hour. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) Motion to adopt resolution #19-010 promoting Mr. Aaron Pipenhagen to the <br />Patrol Officer, effective on or near January 9, 2019 at $26.52 per hour, which <br />the 2019 wage scale. <br />or near <br />CITY OF <br />position of <br />is step 1 of <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember , <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />
