Voting No: None. <br />7.06: Consider Adoption of Resolution #18-264 Approving West Riverdale Study as an <br />Official Planning Document <br />Community Development Director Gladhill reviewed the staff report and recommendation to <br />adopt the study as an official planning document. <br />Motion by Councilmember Shryock, seconded by Councilmember Johns, to Adopt Resolution <br />#18-264 Approving West Riverdale Study as an Official Planning Document. <br />Further discussion: Councilmember Riley asked if there is any reason the City would not do this, <br />or something the City is not considering. Community Development Director Gladhill stated that <br />it will come down to cost and that would be included in the next steps. He stated that the study <br />includes the preferred alternative but also includes two additional options. He did not see a <br />downfall in moving forward in the next steps with this as a planning document. <br />Motion carried. Voting No: None. <br />7.07: Consider Adoption of Resolution #18-246 Approving Plans and Specifications and <br />Authorizing Advertisement for Bids for Riverdale Drive Utility Improvements, <br />Improvement Project #18-14 <br />City Engineer Westby reviewed the staff report and recommendation to adopt Resolution #18- <br />246 approving plans and specifications and authorizing advertisement for bids for Riverdale <br />Drive Utility Improvements, Improvement Project #18-14. <br />Councilmember Kuzma asked if winter construction would add to the construction cost. <br />City Engineer Westby confirmed that would add to the cost. He stated that winter construction <br />cost would be included in the bids as a lump sum item, stating that cost is typically 10 to 20 <br />percent more. He stated that typically a winter utility project would be avoided. He confirmed <br />that LazyDays RV would be covering the additional winter construction costs. <br />Motion by Councilmember Kuzma, seconded by Councilmember Johns, to Adopt Resolution <br />#18-246 Approving Plans and Specifications and Authorizing Advertisement for Bids for <br />Riverdale Drive Utility Improvements, Improvement Project #18-14. <br />Motion carried.
