Snow piled close to hydrants restricts operation during a fire emergency. After a <br /> snowfall, the Public Works Department is responsible for clearing snow from City streets. <br /> Depending on the amount and type of snow, this could take several days. The City is <br /> requesting your help in keeping our fire hydrants accessible. Please clear a four-foot circle <br /> around the hydrant near your home to ensure easy access for our Fire Department.
