Councilmember Kuzma introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #19-030 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING FINAL PAYMENT TO PARK CONSTRUCTION <br />COMPANY FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 16-54; MISSISSIPPI RIVER TRAIL <br />PHASE III. <br />WHEREAS, on October 27, 2015, the City Council authorized the preparations of Plans <br />and Specifications and the Ads for Bids for the Mississippi River Trail through the City of Ramsey; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution of the City Council adopted September 13, 2016 the <br />bid of Park Construction in the amount of $627,986.40 for the total bid is the lowest responsible <br />bidder; and <br />WHEREAS, as of January 22, 2019 $605,972.60 has been paid to date; and <br />WHEREAS, Bolton & Menk, Inc. has inspected the completed work and recommends <br />final payment to Park Construction Company for Improvement Project 16-54, Mississippi River <br />Trail Phase III in the amount of $12,366.79. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the City Council hereby authorizes final payment to Park Construction Company for <br />Improvement Project 16-54 Mississippi River Trail Phase III in the amount of $12,366.79. <br />2) That the City Council hereby accepts the completed work and authorizes the Mayor or <br />City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. <br />3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of <br />bills for the date of January 22, 2019. <br />4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this <br />resolution <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Shryock and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor LeTourneau <br />Councilmember Kuzma <br />Councilmember Shryock <br />Councilmember Heinrich <br />Councilmember Musgrove <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />None <br />
