Councilmember Elvig introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #04-09-301 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TRANSFER OF $16,000 FROM THE LANDFILL <br />TIPPING FUND TO THE ~GENERALi FUND TO ENGAGE THE SERVICES OF <br />HOISINGTON KOEGLER-GROUP FOR THE PURPOSE OF DEVELOPING A <br />WETLAND PROTECTION ORDINANCE ' <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, At the Enviromental :Policy Task force of September 27, 2004, the EPTF <br />recmnmended that the Hoisington Koegler. Group be engaged to develop a wetland protection <br />ordinance for Ramsey; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Landfil1 Tipping Fee Fund allows funds to be transfen'ed to the General <br />Fund for costs associated with Environmental Services; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Council authorized a $16,000 transfer to the General Fund to retain the <br />services of the Hoisington Koegler Group. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1.) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey authorizes the services of the Hoisington <br /> Koegler Group in the amount of $16,000 to develop a wetland protection ordinance. <br /> 2) Funding will be provided by a transfer from the Landfill Tipping Fee Fund to the General <br /> Fund in the amount of $16,000. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing <br />CouncihnenaberStrommen and upon vote being taken <br />thereof: : <br /> <br />resolution was duly seconded by <br />thereon, the following voted in favor <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Strommen <br />Councilmember Kurak <br />Councilmember Pearson <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />Nolle <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />Nolle <br /> <br /> <br />
