Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #19-053 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING PERMANENT UTILITY EASEMENT ON LOT 1, <br />BLOCK 1, LAZYDAYS ADDITION <br />WHEREAS, Lazydays RV is constructing a maintenance facility on the Lot 1, <br />Block 1, LAZYDAYS Addition property; and <br />WHEREAS, the maintenance facility is located within the City of Ramsey's <br />Metropolitan Urban Service Area and must be served by municipal utilities; and <br />WHEREAS, the City finds it in the public interest to extend trunk utilities along <br />Riverdale Drive from Armstrong Boulevard towards Llama Street with City Improvement <br />Project #18-14 to serve the Lazydays RV maintenance facility, to serve other developed <br />properties in the area, and to prepare for future development in the area (the "Trunk Utility <br />Improvements"); and <br />WHEREAS, the property owner of the Lot 1, Block 1, LAZYDAYS Addition <br />property executed an easement agreement on February 5, 2019, dedicating permanent <br />utility easement to adequately construct and maintain the Trunk Utility Improvements as <br />described in the legal descriptions in Exhibit B of the easement agreement (the <br />"Permanent Easement") as attached to this resolution; and <br />WHEREAS, the City declares it in the public interest to accept the Permanent <br />Easement described herein. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That in order to carry out the purposes and objectives described above it is <br />necessary to accept the Permanent Easement. <br />2) That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves and accepts the Utility Easement <br />and Agreement for Lot 1, Block 1, LAZYDAYS Addition. <br />The motion of the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />RESOLUTION #19-053 <br />Page 1 of 3 <br />
