Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #19-053 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING PERMANENT UTILITY EASEMENT ON LOT 1, BLOCK 1, LAZYDAYS ADDITION WHEREAS, Lazydays RV is constructing a maintenance facility on the Lot 1, Block 1, LAZYDAYS Addition property; and WHEREAS, the maintenance facility is located within the City of Ramsey's Metropolitan Urban Service Area and must be served by municipal utilities; and WHEREAS, the City finds it in the public interest to extend trunk utilities along Riverdale Drive from Armstrong Boulevard towards Llama Street with City Improvement Project #18-14 to serve the Lazydays RV maintenance facility, to serve other developed properties in the area, and to prepare for future development in the area (the "Trunk Utility Improvements"); and WHEREAS, the property owner of the Lot 1, Block 1, LAZYDAYS Addition property executed an easement agreement on February 5, 2019, dedicating permanent utility easement to adequately construct and maintain the Trunk Utility Improvements as described in the legal descriptions in Exhibit B of the easement agreement (the "Permanent Easement") as attached to this resolution; and WHEREAS, the City declares it in the public interest to accept the Permanent Easement described herein. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That in order to carry out the purposes and objectives described above it is necessary to accept the Permanent Easement. 2) That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves and accepts the Utility Easement and Agreement for Lot 1, Block 1, LAZYDAYS Addition.
