Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #19-056 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH WSB <br />ASSOCIATES <br />WHEREAS, the City currently contracts with WSB Associates for general planning <br />services (planning/zoning); and, <br />WHEREAS, City Code Section 2-275 (Purchasing Alternatives) states that requests for <br />proposals (RFP) shall be required for contracts in excess of $25,000, but states that the City <br />Council may, at its discretion, formally extend a current standard services contract upon <br />recommendation of city staff; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City has reviewed rates and charges of comparable professional services <br />contractors and found existing contracts to be price competitive. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) The City Council hereby approves a professional services agreement with WSB Associates <br />for Planning and Zoning Services for a period of three (3) years. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember, <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Existing Vacancy <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 12th day of February, 2019. <br />
