<br /> <br />h.The Home Occupation will not be permitted if the density and lot sizes of the <br />surrounding neighborhood are determined to be too dense and therefore not <br />compatible with the proposed home occupation operation. <br /> <br /> <br />i.Off-street parking requirements shall comply with sub-section 9.11.10 Off <br />Street Parking, of this Code. <br /> <br /> <br />j.Sale of merchandise at the Dwelling Unit shall be limited to minor products <br />that are ancillary to the Principal Dwelling Home Occupation and shall be <br />displayed or stored within the Dwelling Unit. <br /> <br /> <br />k.The Home Occupation shall not be granted a Permit if it constitutes a fire <br />hazard to neighboring residences, adversely affects neighboring property <br />values, or constitutes a nuisance or is otherwise detrimental to neighbors <br />because of excessive traffic, excessive noise, odors or other circumstances. <br /> <br /> <br />l.The Council may impose such reasonable other conditions necessary to <br />protect the public health, safety, and welfare of residents of the City. <br /> <br />Subd. 4. Accessory Structure Home Occupations. <br /> The intent of an <br />Accessory Structure Home Occupation permit is to allow the property owner the <br />opportunity to operate a low profile business within an attached or detached <br />accessory structure. It is the intent of the Accessory Structure Home occupation <br />that the property owner has a vested interest in the business, as the City does not <br />want to promote leasing accessory structures to non-resident business owners <br />within the residential district. <br /> <br /> <br />a.Accessory Structure Home Occupations may be permitted within an <br />attached or detached accessory structure provided that the parcel is three (3) <br />acres in size or greater and the accessory structure is located on the same <br />parcel as the Dwelling Unit. If an accessory structure is not located on the <br />parcel with the Dwelling Unit the applicant shall be required to combine the <br />two parcels into one property identification number at the Recorder’s office. <br /> <br /> <br />b.Accessory Structure Home Occupations will not be considered for <br />operations relating to internal combustion engines, body shops, <br />ammunition manufacturing, motor vehicle repairs or sale, or any other <br />objectionable uses as determined by the City Council. <br /> <br /> <br />c.Accessory Structure Home Occupations that adversely affect the character <br />of a residential neighborhood, as determined by the City Council, will not <br />be permitted under any circumstance. <br /> <br /> <br />d.The number of non-resident employees allowed to participate in the <br />business operation on the subject property are restricted as follows: <br />3 <br /> <br /> <br />
