Councilmember Riley introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #19-038 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ANOKA RAMSEY ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION <br />APPLICATION FOR A PREMISE PERMIT FOR LAWFUL GAMBLING AT <br />McDUFF' S EATERY AND PUB <br />WHEREAS, The Anoka Ramsey Athletic Association has applied for a premise <br />permit for gambling at McDuff Eatery and Pub, 16659 St. Francis Boulevard, Ramsey. <br />WHEREAS, The Anoka Ramsey Athletic Association has requested Council waive <br />the 60-day notice provision; and <br />WHEREAS, the Gambling Control Board Division of the Department of Gaming <br />requires the City of Ramsey adopt a resolution specifically approving or denying the <br />application. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the premise permit application for the <br />Anoka Ramsey Youth Association to operate lawful gambling at McDuff s Eatery and <br />Pub, 16659 St. Francis Boulevard, Ramsey. <br />2) That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes the City Administrator or Finance <br />Director to sign the application and any other documents required by the Minnesota <br />Gambling Board. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Kuzma, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor LeTourneau <br />Councilmember Riley <br />Councilmember Kuzma <br />Councilmember Heinrich <br />Councilmember Musgrove <br />Councilmember Shryock <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />None <br />and the following abstained: <br />None <br />
