Councilmember Riley introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #19-039 <br />RESOLUTION TO HIRE A PART-TIME COMMUNITY SERVICE OFFICER <br />WHEREAS, there is a Community Service Officer vacancy; and <br />WHEREAS, an internal recruitment process was conducted; and <br />WHEREAS, Ms. Katie McNally has been selected as the top candidate for the position <br />averaging 25 hours per week; and <br />WHEREAS, staff has completed the necessary background checks and is recommending <br />that Ms. Katie McNally be hired as a part-time Community Service Officer at $19.93 per hour <br />effective on or near Monday, February 25, 2019; and <br />WHEREAS, Ms. Katie McNally will be subject to a 6-month probationary period, the <br />City's Personnel Policy and AFSCME union contract. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) Motion to adopt resolution 419-039 hiring Ms. Katie McNally as a part-time Community <br />Service Officer working an average of 25 hours per week, effective on or near February <br />25, 2019 at $19.93 per hour, which is step 1 of the 2019 wage scale. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Kuzma, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor LeTourneau <br />Councilmember Riley <br />Councilmember Kuzma <br />Councilmember Heinrich <br />Councilmember Musgrove <br />Councilmember Shryock <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />None <br />and the following abstained: <br />None <br />
