<br />Adequacy of Roadway System in Year 2020
<br />To determine whether the arterials of the 2020 roadway system will adequately
<br />accommodate the traffic volumes forecast for 2020, a comparison between the
<br />forecast AADT and the capacity provided by each facility has been made. The daily
<br />capacity calculations found in the Anoka County 2015 Transportation Plan were used
<br />for this comparison and as the basis for assigning a LOS grade.
<br />
<br />The 2020 forecasts for the base condition (no new Mississippi River bridge) indicate
<br />that there will be capacity deficiencies on TH 10/169 along its entire length through
<br />Ramsey by the year 2020. This segment of TH 10/169 will perform at LOS E at its
<br />west end and at LOS F at its east end. No other capacity deficiencies are anticipated,
<br />provided that the planned improvements to TH 47 are implemented (i.e. the ultimate
<br />build recommendation of widening TH 47 from two lanes to four lanes). Without the
