As <br />part of each comprch~.nxslveplan, a lvgssissippi R.ivcr crossing is discussed. Thc City of <br />Ramsey's dr~ Compr~nsivc Plan. currently contains two proposed Mississippi Pdver <br />crossings; one at the /vfississippi West Regiohal .Park and thc seCond at a location <br />approximately one mile to the w~t..'Thc City of R,amscy currently undzrstands that thc <br />City of Dayton's dmfl Comprehensive. Plan includes approx2matcly thc same two <br />allernafivc crossings. <br /> <br />Tl~c'City of l~,msey understands that thc prcfen'ed Mississippi Kiver cross~ng would be <br />the westerly-located altO'motiVe. Because of this understanding, thc City of Ramsey <br />would propose that the Cities of Dayton and Ramscy enter into a joint resolution <br />supr~ordng the Mississippi R.ivcr crossing at thc westcrly located alternative, additionally <br />~ach city would remove the easterly located alternative from 'their respective <br />Comprehensive Plans. If thc City of Dayton would agree with thc proposal for a joint <br />reSolution, the Ramscy.
