RE-Powering encourages renewable energy development on current and formerly contaminated <br />lands, landfills and mine <br />site. The Initiative identifies the renewable energy potential of these sites and provides other useful <br />resources for communities and other stakeholders to pursue such redevelopment. In particular there <br />are Mapper and Decision Tree tools for locating and evaluating sites and best practice and case study <br />documents.
