Councilmember Cook introduced the folloWingresolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #05-01-023 RESOLUTION APPROVING 1s~r PARTIAL PAYMENT TO E.H. RENNER & SONS FOR I.P. #04-21 WELL NO 6 {RTC) WHEREAS, on August 10, 2004,1 the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #04-08- 208 authorizing plans and specifications for the above referenced work; and WHEREAS, on September 13, 2004, the Ramsey City Council awarded the contract for IP #04-21 to E.H. Renner & Sons in the mOunt °f$318,322.00; and WHEREAS, Principal Engineer, :Brian Olson has inspected the completed work and recommends partial payment to E:H. Renner & Sons in the amount of $46,563.39. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY* iSTATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) 2) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to E.H. Renner & Sons for Improvement Projeet #04,21 in the amount of $46,563.39. That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. 3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the date of January 25, 2005. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing.resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Elvig, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec Councilmember Cook Councilmember Elvig Councilmember Jeffrey Councilmember Olson Councilmember Pearson Councilmember Strommen and the following voted against the same: none RESOLUTION #05-01-023 Page I of 2
