Councilmember Kuzma introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #19-067 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PURCHASE AGREEMENTS FOR LAND <br />EXCHANGE <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has negotiated the terms of a purchase agreement (the <br />"Purchase Agreement 1") with PSD, LLC to purchase the following parcel for a Storm Water <br />Infiltration Basin, Future Right of Way and a portion to be held for resale as part of a property <br />exchange: <br />That part of OUTLOT A, RAMSEY TOWN CENTER 13TH ADDITION, Anoka County, Minnesota <br />lying southerly and westerly of the following described line and its extensions: <br />Beginning at the Southwest corner of OUTLOT B, said RAMSEY TOWN CENTER 13TH <br />ADDITION; thence North 90 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds East assumed bearing along the <br />South line of said OUTLOT B a distance of 177.65 feet to the Southeast corner of said <br />OUTLOT B; thence South 00 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds East a distance of 68.63 feet; <br />thence North 81 degrees 21 minutes 19 seconds East a distance of 110.63 feet; thence easterly <br />along a tangential curve concave to the south a distance of 21.14 feet, said curve having a radius <br />of 140.00 feet and a central angle of 08 degrees 39 minutes 03 seconds; thence South 89 degrees <br />59 minutes 38 seconds East, tangent to last described curve, a distance of 288.39 feet to a point <br />on the East line of said OUTLOT A, said point being distant 326.97 feet north of the southeast <br />corner of said OUTLOT A, as measured along said east line and said line there terminating. (the <br />"Property"); and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has negotiated the terms of a purchase agreement (the <br />"Purchase Agreement 2") with PSD, LLC to sell as part of a land exchange: <br />Part of Lot 2, Block 2, Hy-10 Ramsey and Part of Lot 3, Block 2, Hy-10 Ramsey, Anoka <br />County, Minnesota. (the "Parcel 45"); and <br />WHEREAS, Purchase Agreement 2 includes terms and conditions that require PSD LLC to <br />execute a Right of Re -Entry Agreement relating to the construction of a Building and obtaining a <br />Certificate of Occupancy by September 20, 2019; and <br />WHEREAS, the Ramsey EDA has reviewed the terms of Purchase Agreement 1 and <br />Purchase Agreement 2 and recommended approval to the City Council at its February 14, 2019 <br />meeting. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) The City of Ramsey authorizes the Mayor and City Administrator to execute the attached <br />Purchase Agreement 1 and Purchase Agreement 2; subject to City Attorney approval. <br />
