COMMISSION INPUT <br /> <br />Commissioner Roselle inquiredlabOUt the minutes of the joint City Council and Park and <br />Recreation Commission meeting. The minutes did not reflect the summary of conclusions reached <br />at the joint meeting, i ~: <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Roselle and du!y seconded by Commissioner Shumway to amend the <br />minutes of the joint City Council:and Park *and Recreation Commission meeting dated November <br />9, 1989 as follows: <br /> <br />The conclusions reached by thoSePresent were that: <br /> <br />1) The concept of a trail system is agood one. <br />2) That land be banked for the proposed rtr_ail: System. <br />3) Acquiring land to complete one'(l)S, mall trail loop. <br />4) Begin plans to develop the,("Horse POrtion!'). of the trail based on a Commission report that <br /> it would be the most economically feasible: <br />5) At some time in the future:bther financing options would need to be explored. <br />6) The City Council and Park~andRecreation :Commission would reconvene in February 1990 <br /> in a joint session to revieWprogress~ . <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman:, Hetland, Commissioners Roselle, Shumway, Prall, <br /> r, <br />Rustad, Lokker and Johnson. Voting No.' None~ Absent: None. <br /> <br />Commissioner Hetland requestedra staff direction to City Attorney Bill Goodrich to examine the <br />legalities of acquiring an interestlinto tw° ~artiCUlar properties to complete a portion of the trail <br />system.
