On October 12, 1989, the Ramsey Park and Recreation Commission recommended acceptance of <br />the combination of land (75' trail CorridOr) and cash to satisfy the park dedication contingent upon <br />Anoka County not being able to purchase the land. <br /> <br />On November 6, 1989, the Ramsey Planning and Zoning Commission conducted it public hearing <br />on Tooth Acres Addition and tabled the case until their special meeting scheduled for November <br />21, 1989. <br /> <br />On November 21, 1989, the Ramsey Planning and Zoning Commission adjourned prior to <br />addressing this case; forwarded to November 28, 1989 special meeting agenda. <br /> <br />On November 28, 1989, there was no quorum of the Ramsey Planning and Zoning Commission <br />and the meeting was not called to order. <br /> <br />On December 4, 1989, the Ramsey Planning and Zoning Commission recommended that City <br />Council approve the preliminary plat for Tooth Acres, as modified in "C", contingent upon <br />compliance with the City Engineer's Review and a review by the Park and Recreation Commission <br />for park dedication requirements. Staff notes that the Park and Recreation Commission has ah'eady <br />made their recommendation regarding park dedication. <br /> <br />On December 18, 1989, the City of Ramsey receiVed a letter from the Developer requesting that the <br />rczoning be withdrawn and the plat approval be tabled. The Developer also stated that he had <br />agreed to sell 57.3+ acres to AnOka County for park purposes. <br /> <br />On January 5, 1990, City staff met with Anoka County staff and reached a consensus regarding <br />the platting of Tooth Acres which provides' for the proposed Mississippi River Bridge Crossing. <br /> <br />Rcconlnlendalion: <br /> <br />Staff recommends preliminary plat approval of Tooth Acres Addition. <br /> <br />Commission Action: <br /> <br />Motion to approve/not approve the preliminary plat of Tooth Acres Addition and recommend final <br />plat approval of same. <br /> <br />- and - <br /> <br />Motion to request City Council to have the special Planning and Zoning meeting costs absorbed as <br />a City administrative cost since the plat provides for the proposed Mississippi River Bridge <br />Crossing. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />City Administrator <br />City Attorney X <br />City Engineer X <br />Community Development Director X <br /> <br />Chief of Police <br />Finance Officer <br />Planning & Zoning Comm. <br />Park & Recreation Comm. <br /> <br /> <br />
