Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #19-080 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING <br />ADVERTISEMENTS FOR BIDS FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #19-03, WOOD <br />POND HILLS AND CHESTNUT RIDGE STREET RECONSTRUCTIONS <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #18-177, adopted August 28, <br />2018, a Feasibility Report was prepared by the City Engineer with reference to proposed <br />improvements to approximately 0.63 miles of streets within the Wood Pond Hills and Chestnut <br />Ridge developments including 146th Avenue, Helium Street, and Krypton Street, including the <br />reconstruction of streets and other appurtenant work; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #18-221, adopted October <br />23, 2018, the Feasibility Report was received and accepted, and a Public Hearing was ordered <br />for November 13, 2018 at 7 p.m., where the City Council considered the proposed <br />improvements for said streets in accordance with the Feasibility Report; and <br />WHEREAS, benefiting properties are proposed to be assessed for 25-percent of the cost <br />of the improvements, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429, Chapter 8 of the City Charter, <br />and the City's Special Assessments Policy; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Clerk gave mailed and published notice of such hearing and <br />improvements as required by law; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #18-231, adopted November <br />13, 2018, the City Council conducted a Public Hearing, approved the Feasibility Report, and <br />ordered the City Engineer to prepare plans and specifications for the making of such <br />improvements; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Engineer has completed plans and specifications for the purpose <br />of advertising for bids for the same improvements. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) The Ramsey City Council hereby approves the plans and specifications prepared by the <br />City Engineer for the making of such improvements, and authorizes the advertisement of <br />bids for the same improvements as City Improvement Project #19-03. <br />RESOLUTION #19-080 <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
