Other large employers should be surveyed as well.
Please complete the process by November 15, 1989. This will enable our
office to provide the reports to the state legislature and appropriate
state agencies earlier in the year. In addition, communities which submit
their completed surveys to us by October 23rd will receive special
consideration.

Changes in the survey package include additional questions relating to
employer benefit packages, more options for employer assistance, and also
better coding instructions included on the survey form.

Improvements in the reporting system will include more attractive printing
and layout of the report, a data digest, and customized news releases and
presentation package.

In addition, a Retail Retention Survey is now available for use.
Communities can also utilize this tool for identifying opportunities to
assist local businesses. The report for this survey will include only
tables for, your community, not regional or state. data. Please call me for
more information on this survey.

As always, the instructional video tapes are available for general
information or coordinator and volunteer training. An explicit program
manual is also available if you do not already have a copy.

Please call me if you have any questions at 612-297-1169. Thank you for
your active participation in this program.

.

An Equal Opportunity Employer
