Norman <br />Assistant City Administrator Kim Sykes/Moore <br />Facilitator Bill Hudson <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the joint meeting to order at 6:05 p.m. <br />TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br /> <br />Bill Hudson, BrassTacks Network, Inc., submitted a summary to the Council and Planning <br />Commission members as to what he feels the conflicts are between the Planning Commission <br />and City Council. He explained that information included in the summary was obtained from <br />what members had told him and his direct view of the operations. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec presented an issue that had been recently discussed during a Council meeting <br />regarding a sidewalk/trails ordinance. He explained that one issue that was brought up was that <br />the Council is not using the Commissions to their fullest ability or are not giving them the tools <br />and information to do their job properly. <br /> <br />Mr. Hudson inquired if the Planning Commission felt they needed more information from the <br />Council to complete their job adequately. <br /> <br />City Council/March 20, 2000 <br /> Page 1 of 5 <br /> <br /> <br />
