The purpose of this case is to introduce such an ordinance The <br />total number of parcels identified within this ordinance is One (1). See attached site map. This case will be brought <br />back to the City Council on April23 for final adoption. <br />The City has listed the north 9.3 acres of Lot 1, Block 1, Bury and Carlson Addition for industrial development per <br />direction by the City Council and EDA. This 9.3 ares has been identified as surplus city owned property. The <br />remainder of Lot 1, Block 1, Bury and Carlson Addition (approximately 10.08 acres) will be retained for the future <br />Public Works Facility. Staff is working with an existing Ramsey business to develop the 9.3 acre site.. <br />This ordinance does not approve the sale, or require the sale, of city -owned land. This ordinance simply allows the <br />city to sell city -owned land. Individual land transactions will be reviewed and approved on a case -by -case basis, in <br />the future, depending on the merits of individual proposals <br />Notification: <br />After adoption, a notification of this ordinance will be posted in the Union Herald. <br />Funding Source: <br />NA <br />Recommendation: <br />Staff recommends that City Council adopt Ordinance #19-07. <br />Action: <br />Motion to: <br />Introduce Ordinance #19-07, Authorizing the City of Ramsey to Sell One (1) Parcel of Real Property no longer <br />needed for current or future City functions. <br />Attachments <br />Site Location Map <br />
