APPROVE MINUTES <br /> <br />Motion by Member Kiefer, seconded by Member LeTourneau, to approve the following meeting <br />minutes as presented: <br /> <br />1) Economic Development Authority regular meeting minutes dated December 8, 2004. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: ChairPerson Riley, Members Kiefer, LeTourneau, Elvig, <br />Gromberg, Steffen, and Strommen, Voting No: iN°ne. Absent: None. <br /> <br />EDA BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: Elect Chair and ViCe Chair/Treasurer <br /> <br />Motion by Member Gromberg, seconded by iMember Strommen, that the Chair and Vice <br />Chair/Treasurer positions for 2005 remain the same as the 2004 positions. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: ChairPerson Riley, Members Gromberg, Strommen, Elvig, Kiefer, <br />LeTourneau, and Steffen. Voting No: None. Absent: None. <br /> <br />Case #2: Staff Update <br /> <br />Associate Planner Wald indicated that the planning Commission reviewed the following <br />application requests at their January 6, 2005 meeting and made the following recommendations: <br /> · The sketch plan for Ramsey Meadows 5th Addition was recommended for approval. <br /> · The sketch plan for Shade Tree Cottages Was recommended for denial. The Planning <br /> Commission has made many changes to the plan. <br /> · The sketch plan for Rum RiVer Meadows Was recommended for denial. <br /> · The sketch plan for Alpine Woods was recommended for approval. <br /> · The sketch plans for the St. Anthony Gun Club Property and Brookfield Addition were <br /> tabled, as the sketch plans are slightlY ahead of the Comprehensive Plan amendment <br /> process. : <br /> <br />Member Elvig reported there is about ½ million dollars of cleanup needed on the St. Anthony <br />Gun Club property. The Gun Club will remain operational until there is a plan in place. He <br />explained the property has been sold to John Peterson of Oakwood Land Development and a <br />sketch plan has been drafted. <br /> <br />Associate Planner Wald reported the Don't Break the Bank and Balancing Growth pieces have <br />been distributed to the direct mailing list apProVed :by the EDA during the December meeting. <br />Chairperson Riley appeared on the QCTV BUsineSs Connection, which is currently airing. The <br />next segment of the QCTV Business Conneeti0n will likely be done in March.
