This meeting is not for a <br />review of taxes that are being paid in 2003, which are based on the 2002 <br />valuations. The Board may correct any erroneous valuation and add any <br />omission of properties or increase of value after due process. The total <br />decrease of valuations may not exceed one percent of the total valuation of <br />the taxing district." <br /> <br />Officially Receive Appeals - The Board will receive written appeals of <br />valuations from property owners. The secretary has recorded the required <br />information (name, mailing address, telephone number, and address of <br />property, etc.) After all notices are received and have been heard, the Board <br />directs the Assessor's Office to review the properties where information is <br />needed to make a decision. <br /> <br />Recess Meeting. <br /> <br />If needed, the meeting will be reconvened at a date to be de[ermined. The BOard of APpeal <br />and Equalization of any city, unless a longer pedOd is approved by theCommissioner <br />of Revenue, must corn plete its work and adjourn within twentydays from the time of <br />convening specified in the notice of the clerk.' No action taken subsequent to such <br />date shall be valid. <br /> <br /> <br />
