5. MEMBER / STAFF UPDATE <br />Economic Development Manager Sullivan reported that the Business Expo was held the previous <br />weekend noting that at least 600 people were in attendance with over 60 exhibitors. He noted <br />that 400 City of Ramsey bags were distributed and there has been very positive feedback on the <br />event and the new venue. He confirmed that staff intends to book the same venue for the next <br />year. He reported that in May he will be attending the ICSC conference in Las Vegas. This <br />conference it the largest retail conference in the nation. He noted that CBRE staff and Mr. Rob <br />Hardy will also be at the event and together with the City they could show a united front to <br />potential retailers. He stated that he has been working with Mr. Hardy to book specific meetings <br />with retailers at the event. <br />6. ADJOURNMENT <br />Motion by Member Hardin, seconded by Member Burandt, to adjourn the meeting. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Steffen, Members Hardin, Burandt, Berg, Hardin, <br />Kanaventi, Kuzma, and Riley. Voting No: None.
