CONTRACTOR <br />BASE <br />BID <br />ALTERNATE <br />BID <br />TOTAL <br />BID <br />Asphalt Surface Technologies <br />$249,901.55 <br />$12,601.70 <br />$262,503.25 <br />Northwest <br />$299,982.36 <br />$14,632.60 <br />$314,614.96 <br />Engineer 's Estimate <br />$190,942.75 <br />$10, 794.80 <br />$201, 737.55 <br />WHEREAS, the bid of Asphalt Surface Technologies of Saint Cloud, Minnesota, in the <br />amount of $262,503.25 for the total bid for construction of the base bid improvements plus the <br />alternate bid improvements in accordance with the approved plans and specifications and <br />advertisement for bids, is the lowest responsible bidder and their bid shall be and hereby is <br />accepted; and <br />WHEREAS, benefiting properties are proposed to be assessed for all or a portion of the <br />cost of the improvements, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429, Chapter 8 of the City <br />Charter, and the City of Ramsey's adopted Special Assessments Policy. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a <br />contract with said bidder for the construction of said improvements for and on behalf of <br />the City of Ramsey. <br />2) The City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders <br />the deposits made with their bids at such time that a contract has been executed. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />RESOLUTION #19-113 <br />Page 2 of 3 <br />
