Councilmember Riley introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #19-106 <br />RESOLUTION HIRING SEASONAL PUBLIC WORKS MAINTENANCE WORKERS <br />WHEREAS, annually the City employs Seasonal Public Works Maintenance Workers to <br />perform work in the Parks, Streets, and Utilities Divisions of Public Works; and <br />WHEREAS, Staff selected six qualified seasonal candidates; and <br />WHEREAS, all candidates have passed the pre -employment screenings; and <br />WHEREAS, Staff recommends hiring the 2019 Seasonal Public Works Maintenance <br />Workers. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) Motion to adopt resolution 419-106 to hire the following employees on or near the dates <br />listed below: <br />Seasonal Public Works Maintenance Workers: Tanner McIntire -Linder, effective May <br />13, 2019 at $11.25 per hour; Mitchel Barr, effective May 14, 2019 at $11.00 per hour; <br />Bradley Beaver, effective May 15, 2019 at $11.75 per hour; Gunner Ledin, effective May <br />15, 2019 at $11.75 per hour; Carter Perry, effective May 20, 2019 at $11.00 per hour; and <br />Nathaniel Gfroerer, effective June 10, 2019 at $11.00 per hour. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Heinrich, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor LeTourneau <br />Councilmember Riley <br />Councilmember Heinrich <br />Councilmember Kuzma <br />Councilmember Musgrove <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />None <br />and the following abstained: <br />None <br />
