Councilmember Heinrich introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #19-129 <br />RESOLUTION TO RESCIND A PREVIOUS MOTION AND APPROVE A REVISED <br />SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT <br />WHEREAS, at its May 14, 2019, meeting, the City Council approved an agreement with <br />a former employee subject to approval by the union; and <br />WHEREAS, the union has since informed the City that it will not approve that agreement <br />because the former employee is no longer a member of the bargaining unit; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous of moving forward with an agreement with the <br />former employee. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1. The motion approving the agreement with the former employee made at the May 14, 2019, <br />Council meeting is hereby rescinded. <br />2. A revised agreement, approved by City Council on May 28, 2019, is effective May 29, <br />2019. <br />3. The City Clerk and Mayor are authorized and directed to sign the agreement on behalf of <br />the City on May 29, 2019. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Kuzma, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor LeTourneau <br />Councilmember Heinrich <br />Councilmember Kuzma <br />Councilmember Musgrove <br />Councilmember Riley <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />None <br />and the following abstained: <br />None <br />
