Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #19-149 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT <br />BLOCK GRANT AND HOME INVESTMENT PARTNERSHIPS PROGRAM <br />COOPERATION AGREEMENT <br />WHEREAS, CDBG and HOME are federal grants that can aid communities in <br />revitalization efforts; and <br />WHEREAS, for a number of years, the City has had access to these grants through Anoka <br />County; and <br />WHEREAS, recent changes to federal law require that the City approve an amendment to <br />the existing Cooperation Agreement.. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) The City Council approves Amendment 1 to the Cooperation Agreement. <br />2) The Mayor and City Administrator are authorized to sign on behalf of the City. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember, <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Existing Vacancy <br />Existing Vacancy <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 25th day of June, 2019. <br />Mayor <br />
