The Ramsey City <br />Ramsey Municipal <br />Members Present: <br />Members Absent: <br />Also Present: <br />1. <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, June 11, 2019, at the <br />Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br />Mayor John LeTourneau <br />Councilmember Nadine Heinrich <br />Councilmember Mark Kuzma <br />Councilmember Debra Musgrove <br />Councilmember Chris Riley <br />None <br />City Administrator Kurtis Ulrich <br />Finance Director Diana Lund <br />Police Chief Jeff Katers <br />Parks and Assistant Public Works Superintendent Mark Riverblood <br />Community Development Director Timothy Gladhill <br />City Engineer Bruce Westby <br />Civil Engineer IV Lenard Linton <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Mayor LeTourneau called the regular meeting of the Ramsey City Council to order at 7:00 p.m., <br />followed by the Pledge of Allegiance led by Mayor LeTourneau. <br />2. PRESENTATION <br />2.01: Presentation of the 2018 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report by the City's <br />Auditing Firm of Mallow, Montague, Karnowski, Radosevich & Company (MMKR) <br />Aaron Nielsen, MMKR, stated that within the packet are the Comprehensive Annual Financial <br />Report (CAFR), Special Purpose Reports, and Management Report. He reported that the City <br />received an unmodified or clean opinion on the financial statements. He referenced the Special <br />Purpose Reports and noted that there were no material weaknesses or issues of noncompliance. <br />He stated that the City was able to meet the fund balance goal for the general fund and favorable <br />operating results were found for the fund. He welcomed any questions the Council may have. <br />Councilmember Riley stated that the Council received a more comprehensive report during the <br />worksession tonight and thanked Mr. Nielsen for his presentation. <br />City Council / June 11, 2019 <br />Page 2 of 9 <br />
