WHEREAS, the City sent a notice of violation and an abatement notice on June 14, 2019 <br />with an abatement for a few specific items the week of July 1, 2019; and <br />WHEREAS, the homeowner has stated they are working with the Minnesota Housing <br />Finance Agency for a loan to complete work on the outside of the home. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council approves the following related to the code enforcement case: <br />a. That the City of Ramsey hereby approves an abatement of the specific items noted in the <br />June 14, 2019 notice of violation/abatement for the week of July 1, 2019. <br />b. That the City of Ramsey is granting a 60 day extension to improve the outside of the home <br />from the date of this meeting; that the case may return for additional extension based upon <br />MHFA timelines. <br />c. That the homeowner understands any subsequent violation within 12 months of this date <br />will include an administrative citation, starting at $250. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Musgrove, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor LeTourneau <br />Councilmember Kuzma <br />Councilmember Musgrove <br />Councilmember Heinrich <br />Councilmember Riley <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />None <br />and the following abstained: <br />None <br />and the following were absent: <br />Existing Vacancy <br />Existing Vacancy <br />Resolution #19-146 <br />Page 2 of 3 <br />
