Staff supports this alternative. <br />Alternative 2: Adopt Resolution #19-085 authorizing staff to submit the City's 2040 Comprehensive Plan with <br />amendments as stated by the City Council. The City Council should indicate specific items or areas of the plan they <br />would like to see revised if Alternative 2 is preferred. Staff does not object to Alternative 2. <br />Funding Source: <br />Staff is updating the Comprehensive Plan as part of their normal duties with some assistance from Consultants <br />WSB and Bolton & Menk. The City received a grant from the Metropolitan Council to assist in the cost associated <br />with updating the comprehensive plan. <br />Recommendation: <br />Staff recommends adoption of Resolution #19-085 authorizing submission of the City's 2040 Comprehensive Plan <br />to the Metropolitan Council.
