WHEREAS, benefiting properties are proposed to be assessed for all or a portion of the <br />cost of the improvements, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429, Chapter 8 of the City <br />Charter, and the City of Ramsey's adopted Special Assessments Policy. <br />WHEREAS, as of July 23, 2019 $0 has been paid to date; and <br />WHEREAS, the Engineering Technician II has inspected the completed work and <br />recommends partial payment 41 to Asphalt Surface Technologies (ASTECH) for Improvement <br />Project 419-01, Ford Brook Estates Street Reconstructions in the amount of $133,606.48. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment 41 to Asphalt Surface <br />Technologies, for Improvement Project 419-01, Ford Brook Estates Street <br />Reconstruction, in the amount of $133,606.48. <br />2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor <br />or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. <br />3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving <br />payment of bills for the date of July 23, 2019. <br />4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be given a signed copy of this <br />resolution. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Musgrove, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor LeTourneau <br />Councilmember Kuzma <br />Councilmember Musgrove <br />Councilmember Heinrich <br />Councilmember Riley <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />None <br />and the following abstained: <br />None <br />RESOLUTION #19-170 <br />Page 2 of 3 <br />
