Counci lmembcr Cook introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOL'UTION #04-12-376 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION TO GRANT AUTHORIZATION <br />PROCESSES FOR NEW POSITIONS <br /> <br />TO BEGIN <br /> <br />RECRUITMENT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, for several months the City Council has been discussing the 2005 budget <br />and plmls to hire for several new positions;, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, these new positionShavebeen approved as part of the 2005 budget; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, staff has :requested authorization to begin the recruitment processes for <br />these positions. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ,R~ESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, <br /> <br />Con firms tile recommendation of the Personnel Committee to do the following: <br /> <br />I) Grant staff authorization to begin the recruitment processes FOR AN Assistant Finance <br /> Officer, PW Maintenance Worker (2), Building Inspectors (2), Patrol Officer, Fire <br /> Secretary (part-time), and other increases in personnel as indicated in the 2005 budget. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Kurak, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Councilmember Cook <br />Councilnlember Kurak <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Counci hnember Pearson <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and thc following voted against the same: <br /> <br />Nolle <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />NOlle <br /> <br />and the <br /> <br />£ollowi. ng were absent: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Counci hnember Strommen <br /> <br /> <br />
