Counci hnember Cook introdUCed the follOwing resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #04-12-379 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION CONSIDERING R~TIFICATION OF THE APPOINTMENT OF A <br />HUMAN RESOURCES TECHNICIAN <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, approximately 40 applications were received for the position and ten <br />applicants were interviewed; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, staff recommends that Colleen Lasher be hired for the Human Resources <br />Technician position. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, <br /> <br />Confirms the recommendation of the Personnel Committee to do the following: <br /> <br />Rati fy the appointment of Colleen Lasher as the Human Resources Technician at an hourly wage <br />of $17.69 contingent upon satisfactory criminal and driver's license background checks, <br />rel'erence checks, and passing a pre-employment physical and drug screen. Ms. Lasher's official <br />start date will be December 13, 2004. All other personnel polices will apply normally. <br /> <br />Tile motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Kurak, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Counci hnember Cook <br />Counci Imember Kurak: <br />Councihnember Elvig <br />Councilmember Pearson <br />Councihnember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />Nolle <br /> <br />and tile following abstained: <br /> <br />Nolle <br /> <br />and thc following were absent: <br /> <br />NolI¢ <br /> <br /> <br />
