Councilmember Elvig introduced the_ follpWingresolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> ,. <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION #05-01-029 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTiNG FI.I~DINGS OF FACT #0714 RELATING TO A <br />REQUEST FROM CITY OF :RAh4[Slgy PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT TO ALLOW <br />FOR A TEMPORARY MODULAR ~OFFICE STRUCTURE ON THE PROPERTY <br />LOCATED AT 14100 JASPAR ST: NVq FoR AN INTERIM PERIOD OF TIME. <br /> <br /> City of Ramsey Public Works: DePartment, hereinafter referred to as "Applicant", <br />properly applied to the City 0f Ramse~y (the: "City") for an Interim Use Permit to place a <br />temporary modular office structure on the same parcel as their existing facility for an interim <br />period of time on the property generally 'known as 14100 Jaspar St NW and legally described as <br />follows: <br /> <br />Lot 1, Block 1, Gateway North 'Industrial Park, Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> <br />(the "Subject Property")' <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT .RESOLVED By THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE iOF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />l) <br /> <br />That the Applicant ap, peared befOre the Planning Commission for a public hearing <br />pursuant to Section 9.03.04 of the Ramsey City Code on January 6, 2005 and that the <br />public hearing was properly advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are <br />hereby incorporated bY reference. : <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That the Subject prOperty is ,aPProximately 8.25 acres in size and is zoned E-2 <br />Employment District; the sUrrounding properties to the west, north, and east are zoned E- <br />2 Employment District and the iproperties south of the railroad tracks are zoned H-1 <br />Business District. <br /> <br />That Section 9.03.06(I) (Interim .Use Permits) of the Ramsey City Code allows for <br />interim uses to allow a use for' a limited period of time that reasonably utilizes the <br />property where it is not reasonable to utilize it in the manner provided by the <br />comprehensive guide and to allow a~use that is presently acceptable but that, with <br />anticipated development' will not be acceptable in the future. <br /> <br />4) <br /> <br />5) <br /> <br />6) <br /> <br />7) <br /> <br />That the Applicant submitted an application requesting an Interim Use Permit to place a <br />temporary modular office structufe'on the Subject Property to provide Public Works' staff <br />office space, a training area and a lunch room. <br /> <br />That the office space in the existing facility will be converted into additional inside <br />storage space. <br /> <br />That the proposed temporary modular office structure shall conform to the State Fire and <br />Building Codes. <br /> <br />That the temporary modular office structure will be connected to sewer and water lines. <br /> <br /> <br />
