Councihnember Cook introduced the follOWing resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #04-11-341 <br /> <br />RESOI.UTION AUTHORIZING THE USE OF <br />FOR THE PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION <br />FILES AT CITY HALL <br /> <br />COUNCIL CONTINGENCY FUNDS <br />OF WORKSTATIONS AND FLAT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, several new positions have been authorized that will office out of City Hall; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, additional workstations are required to provide work space for these staff <br />members; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Engineering Department requires additional flat file storage for storage <br />of plans; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, staff has solicited a proposal from h~tereum Inc., the metro area Herman <br />Millet' dealer, for workstations and files to be purchased from the U of M State Contract. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />l) <br /> <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey authorizes the use of Council Contingency <br />fimds in an amount not t° exceed $15,500 for the purchase workstations and flat files for <br />City Hall. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Pearson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Cook <br />Councilmember Pearson <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Kurak <br />Councilmember Strommen <br /> <br />and thc following voted against the same: <br /> <br />NOllC <br /> <br />and thc following abstained: <br /> <br />Nolle <br /> <br /> <br />
