WHEREAS, all three of the! ~tevelop~ent SC~enarios for the comprehensive plan amendment <br /> reviewed by the Planning CommissiOn andi~it~ :C4~cil on January 4 reflected the proposed plat of <br /> Brookfield Addition being developed :with urban serVices; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the proposed pi,tt of Bmokfield Addition will be subject to an Environmental <br /> Assessment Worksheet (EAW), whi~:h will address transportation, environmental requirements, and <br /> water control in greater detail than thl/cOmprehensive plan rewrite; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Property OWnerS did 9tevioUsly petition for the extension of sanitary sewer <br />and municipal water to the north ~d the; Oily hak:, completed a Feasibility Study For NorthWest <br />Sanitary Sewer And Watermain E~tension[ dated March 2004, which study determined that the <br />extension of services to the Subject property is !feasible; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey Planning Commission met on March 3, 2005, conducted a public <br />hearing, and recommended~that the ItatmSey C!tY coUncil deny the Property Owner's request for an <br />amendment to the Comprehensive Platt. <br /> <br />NOW T IEREEORE, IT :i E C T¥ COUNCIL OV TUE CITY OV <br /> a4SE¥, ANOIC COUNTY, St iXW OVlMI i SOTA, as fonows: <br /> <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council lmreby appEoves ~the request for a land use designation change of <br /> the Subject Property from Rural Developing to Low Density Residential. <br /> <br />2) That the Ramsey City Council hereby' aUthorizes City Staff to submit the necessary <br /> documentation to Metropolitan C!0uneil fo~ an amendment to the 2001 ComPrehensive Plan to <br /> change the land use designation to Low Density R~sidential. <br /> <br />3) That this land use change shall become effei:tive c6ncurrent with the City's receipt of notification <br /> of approval from Metropolitan CoUncil. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the~-foreg°ing resOlUtion was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> , and upon vote being taken thereon, the ;follow~ng voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> : <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: . ~ <br />and the following were absent: ~ : i <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared dUly paSsed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the <br />__ day of March, 2005. ~: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> SOL mOS <br /> ~ ~ 7 Pag~ 3 of 3- <br /> <br /> <br />
